A family-owned Texas pool company
Gold Star Leak & Repair is a family-owned, women-owned company started by Amanda and her husband. They watched Texas homeowners get the runaround on leak repairs for years: vague diagnoses, repeat callbacks, estimates that grew every visit. So they built Gold Star Leak & Repair around the opposite approach: owner-operated, fast on the phone, fast on the schedule, and able to handle the repair in-house instead of handing you off to another contractor.

How much does pool leak detection cost in Texas?

Gold Star Leak & Repair is a registered, family-owned and women-owned Texas LLC, fully insured for the leak detection and repair work we do. Proof of insurance is available on request. Every job starts with a written, itemized proposal before any work begins, so you know exactly what you're paying for and who's accountable for it.
How can I tell if my pool is actually leaking, or just losing water to evaporation?
A simple bucket test helps: float a bucket of pool water on a step and compare the drop inside the bucket to the drop in the pool over 24 hours. In Texas heat, and Houston humidity, evaporation can hide a real leak, so if your pool is dropping more than about a quarter-inch a day, it's worth a call.
